Australian film clippings collection

This collection consists of the clippings file holdings within the AFI Research Collection (AFIRC) regarding Australian films. The clippings files are an integral part of the AFIRCs holdings (collected by the AFIRC since the 1970s) and are seen as a unique resource to track down hard to find writing on film and television industry, productions, and people. The Australian film clippings collection are filed by film production title and normally consist of newspaper articles about the film in question and a significant number contain press kits. A number of the clippings files include other ephemera (publicity, lobby cards).
