To investigate a role of UCP2 in pancreatic β-cells, we performed whole genome microarray in islets from βUCP2Tg mice, which overexpressed UCP2 in specifically β-cells. Isolated islets from βUCP2Tg mice or WT mice were incubated at 200 mg/dL glucose for 8 hours.
