资源简介:
This data is Census Collection Districts (CD) based Socio-Economic Indexes for Areas (SEIFA) data based on the 1996 census. The data follows the 1996 Australian Standard Geographical Classification (ASGC) boundaries.\n\nThe Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) has developed five indexes to allow ranking of regions/areas, providing a method of determining the level of social and economic wellbeing in that region.\n\nThe five indexes are:\nUrban Index of Relative Socio-Economic Advantage\nRural Index of Relative Socio-Economic Advantage\nIndex of Relative Socio-Economic Disadvantage\nIndex of Economic Resources\nIndex of Education and Occupation\n\nThese indexes show where the affluent (as opposed to just high income earning) live; where disadvantaged (as opposed to the unemployed) live: and where the highly skilled and educated (as opposed to the tertiary educated people) live.SEIFA 1996 provides information and rankings for a wide range of geographic areas. \n\nThis data is ABS data (catalogue number: 2033.0.55.001) used with permission from the Australian Bureau of Statistics. \n\nFor more information on this data please visit the [Australian Bureau of Statistics](http://www.abs.gov.au/AUSSTATS/abs@.nsf/allprimarymainfeatures/F41FEC0CFE5EF0EECA25715B007A7D4D?opendocument).Please note: \n\n * AURIN has spatially enabled the original data following the [1996 ASGC](https://data.gov.au/dataset/ds-dga-55193178-3454-4a33-8151-c491e8a93172/details?q=).\n
