Keyword co-occurrence map: Digital transformation and IT project management in the oil and gas industry

This dataset contains a keyword co-occurrence map constructed using VOSviewer software based on bibliometric data retrieved from the OpenAlex database. The map visualizes thematic clusters related to digital transformation and IT project management in the oil and gas industry. DATA COLLECTIONThe underlying dataset was obtained from OpenAlex (https://openalex.org) using a comprehensive search query combining Boolean operators to capture research on: (1) IT/digital/technology projects with evaluation metrics (ROI, cost-benefit, economic impact) in oil and gas, energy, and manufacturing sectors; (2) digital transformation and Industry 4.0 with economic assessment in industrial contexts; (3) cross-cutting technologies (AI, digital twin, IoT, cybersecurity) with project implementation evaluation in oil and gas and manufacturing.
