Gupteshwar Cave Speleothem Stable Isotope Dataset for the Late Holocene
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains high-resolution speleothem stable oxygen isotope (δ¹⁸O) measurements and U–Th chronological data from two stalactite samples (GPT-5A and GPT-5B) collected from Gupteshwar Cave, India. The records span approximately 3505 to −17 yr BP (years before present, where 0 BP = AD 1950) and provide a continuous reconstruction of late-Holocene Indian Summer Monsoon (ISM) hydroclimatic variability. The chronology was established using high-precision U-Th dating combined with COPRA age–depth modeling. The Excel file is organized into three worksheets: Sheet 1: U–Th dating results, including sample depths, calibrated ages, and associated 2σ age uncertainties. Sheet 2: GPT-5A stable oxygen and carbon isotope (δ¹⁸O and δ¹³C) measurements with corresponding modeled ages. Sheet 3: GPT-5B stable oxygen and carbon isotope (δ¹⁸O and δ¹³C) measurements with corresponding modeled ages. The average temporal resolution of the isotope record is approximately 2 years for GPT-5A and 1.2 years for GPT-5B.
