Table S1. Presence/absence of trypanosomes and S. glossinidius in relation to tsetse location, species, sex and age. Since sites differed in the species composition of tsetse, “Subpop” refers to the combination of site and species for the generalised linear modelling. Presence or absence of individual trypanosome species was recorded but, due to the low prevalence of some, only T. congolense (combining the subspecies T. c. kilifi and T. c. savannah), T. vivax and T. brucei were included in separate statistical analyses.
