资源简介:

This dataset contains raw experimental data on the in vitro effects of the fungicide tebuconazole (TEB) on rooster spermatozoa, as well as data from a complementary experiment using calcium channel blockers to verify the proposed mechanism of TEB action. The study was conducted on semen collected from 10 Green-legged Partridge roosters and incubated at 36°C for 1 and 3 hours. In Experiment 1, spermatozoa were exposed to different concentrations of TEB (0, 0.1, 1, 10, and 100 µM). In Experiment 2, spermatozoa were treated with selected calcium channel blockers (SNX 325, MRS-1845, Nifedipine, and HC-056456). The dataset includes raw results of sperm motility assessed by CASA, as well as flow cytometry measurements of plasma membrane integrity, mitochondrial membrane potential, acrosome integrity, chromatin structure, intracellular calcium levels, membrane permeability, caspase activation, and lipid peroxidation. In addition, spectrophotometric measurements of malondialdehyde (MDA) concentration and total antioxidant capacity (T-OAC) are included. The files in .xlsx format provide raw replicate-level data and may be used for further statistical analyses, data visualization, and research on the effects of fungicides on sperm function, oxidative status, and calcium-channel-related mechanisms in avian reproduction.
