Australian Gallup Poll, Survey 18, July 31, 1943

The Australian Gallup Polls, commissioned by Australian Public Opinion Polls (The Gallup Method) cover the periods of 1943-1968 and 1975-1987. Australian Gallup Polls comprise two subseries: the earlier series conducted by Roy Morgan (1943-1968); and the later series by McNair Anderson Associates (1975-1983). Opinion polls in the earlier series were conducted on a regular basis by Roy Morgan and the current holding of this archive date from July 1943 to August 1968, a total of 89 polls. The data are also available from the Roper Centre, University of Connecticut, U.S.A, where they were originally deposited.
