Data from 'Detecting Land with Reflected Light Spectroscopy to Rule Out Waterworld O2 Biosignature False Positives'. Files are broken up by their type: .h5.gz are the compressed MCMC chain data files (dimensions: number of steps, number of walkers, number of model parameters), and the .csv files correspond to posteriors plotted in the paper. The columns in the posterior files are labeled as: land, ice, and ocean. Posterior files and chain data files with the same name correspond to the same simulation. The corner plot in Figure 2 can be recreated using the file: 'snr20_1.8um.h5.gz'. The files are named according to their signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), and either identify the wavelength coverage considered (example: 25_11um means 0.25-1.1 microns), or the value of the parameter specified (example: 0.2land means 20% total land fraction, and 0.6cloud means 60% clouds). Files that do not identify a wavelength coverage cover the full nominal range of 0.2-1.8 microns. Similarly, files with no land or cloud fraction given are the nominal case of 30% land, and 50% clouds. Files for our agnostic retrievals (linear, parabolic, and cubic) are named differently but are all .csv files. Files with 'surface' in the name contain information about the airless surface retrieved, along with the confidence intervals plotted in the paper in Figure 6b. Files with 'spectra' in the name contain the full atmosphere+surface spectrum along with confidence intervals shown in Figure 6a. Finally, the airless surfaces plotted in Figure 1a are also provided as .csv files.
