Target capture data for Pelophylax frogs in the Netherlands and Poland

This project aims to test the usefulness of using target capture sequencing (via the FrogCap bait kit) for answering evolutionary and ecological questions within the frog genus Pelophylax, which forms multiple hybridogenetic complexes across Europe. We sequence 45 samples from the Netherlands and Poland, including the species P. ridibundus, P. lessonae and their hybrid P. esculentus. The data is used to investigate the admixture, genome composition and ploidy of the samples.
