Selection of resistant Escherichia coli strains and their genome sequencing

Resistance induction experiments were performed using a fluoroquinolone-resistant E. coli strain (WT). To identify potential mechanisms conferring resistance to antimicrobial peptides, whole genome sequencing of the obtained strains (R1 and R2) as well as the control strain passaged without selective pressure was performed.
