This dataset contains positioning accuracy of a UWB-equipped iPhone that used 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 UWB anchors in range, where the anchors were DWM3001CDK UWB chips. The purpose of this dataset was to see if the number of anchors in range makes a difference on positioning accuracy. It is necessary because there is not much information on UWB performance in smartphones and other commercial UWB modules, e.g., from Qorvo. Overall, the dataset shows that, the more anchors there are in range, the more accurate trilateration results become. One of the implications of this is that a higher density of anchors is beneficial in UWB-based positioning.
