资源简介:
This paper presents an investigation of the effective and less effective cases of a method called ‘radial force sum flattening’, for the vibration and acoustic noise reduction in three-phase switched reluctance motors (SRMs) with different pole configuration. Example of four three-phase SRMs, such as 24/16, 18/12, 12/8, and 6/10 SRMs are presented. The principle of the radial force sum flattening is described, along with the limitation of the method. The verification of the radial force sum flattening is carried out by Finite Element Analysis and experimental results in the SRMs. The analysis results show that the vibration and acoustic noise in SRM are affected by the pole configuration. In SRMs with high pole number, such as 24/16, 18/12, and 12/8 SRMs, the significant vibration and acoustic noise are caused by zeroth mode force excitation. While the notable vibration and acoustic noise in 6/10 SRM are caused by second mode force excitation. The radial force sum flattening is effective in reducing the acoustic noise caused by zeroth mode force excitation.
