Chromosome segments sustitution line (CSSL) is important and valueable material for studying genetic basis and omics-network for complex traits. We developed a set of cotton CSSLs on the Gossypium hirsutum background, representing wide adaptation and high lint yield, with introgression from G. barbadense, representing superior fiber quality. This project sequenced 99 cotton CSSLs that have divergent phenotype compared to their recurrent parent line, the averaged coverage is about 5.74-fold.
