资源简介:
Portulaca, commonly referred to as purslane or moss rose, is a genus of flowering plants noted for their high nutritional content and traditional medicinal applications. In this study, we utilized high-throughput sequencing to sequence, assemble, and annotate the chloroplast (cp) genomes of P. gilliesii. The complete cp genome was found to be 157,429 bp in size with a GC content of 36%. We identified a total of 129 genes, comprising 84 protein-coding genes (PCGs), 37 tRNAs, and 8 rRNAs. Phylogenetic analysis based on the PCGs revealed a close relationship between P. gilliesii and P. grandiflora. These results provide valuable insights for the improved identification, development, and utilization of Portulaca germplasm.
