Microgenderome and the associations between weight gain, integrase inhibitors antiretroviral agents, and gut microbiome in people living with HIV : a cross-sectional study

Dolutegravir (DTG) and bictegravir (BIC), potent second-generation integrase strand transfer inhibitors (INSTI) for HIV treatment, are linked to significant abnormal weight gain. This study investigates the interindividual response variability to DTG and BIC, focusing on the association between participants characteristics, antiretroviral treatment (ART), weight gain, and the gut microbiome.
