In Austria, cross-border business-to-consumer (B2C) e-commerce has become more relevant in the online retail sector. In 2019, e-commerce websites from foreign countries accounted for 44.5 percent of the entire e-commerce revenue. Three years later, the market share of cross-border e-commerce rose to 49.7 percent.
