The goal of this proposal is to investigate the static and dynamic assembling properties of biogenic iron oxide nanoparticles that are relevant for magnetic hyperthermia applications in nanomedicine. We have already studied the static and dynamic magnetic properties of these magnetosomes prepared as suspensions. The combination of SAXS and XPCS at room temperature, under various conditions of external magnetic field and magnetosome concentration, will provide quantitative information on the magnetosome structuration in the liquid phase (i.e., morphology and size of particle assemblies) as well as on its dynamics. In the end, we expect to provide a quantitative connection between the structuration and the heating properties of magnetosomes.
