Supported by the Key R&D Program of Clean Cutting, an ultra-low temperature milling machine equipped with an ultra-low temperature insulated spindle developed by Dalian University of Technology was utilized to conduct liquid nitrogen ultra-low temperature milling on carbon fiber composite T800 satellite base plate parts. The machined parts were inspected for dimensional accuracy via coordinate measuring machine (CMM) by the enterprise's quality inspection department, and visually inspected for their surface appearance. The collected inspection data and quality assessment results were recorded, and compared with the design drawings of the parts. The comparison confirmed that the satellite base plate parts machined via the ultra-low temperature milling technology meet the product design and service requirements.
