ASSESSMENT OF THE SOCIAL ROLE OF PARENTS IN THE ERA OF MODERN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES

Today, with the rapid development of modern information technologies, the social role of parents is changing radically and becoming more complex. This article scientifically and theoretically analyzes the impact of the digital environment, the Internet and social networks on family relations, the transformation of parental responsibilities and functions in raising children. Also, parental control, media literacy and pedagogical approaches are considered as important factors in ensuring the spiritual and moral development of children in the conditions of increasing information flow. The article discusses the role of parents in the socialization process in modern society, their leading role in the formation of the child's personality, and recommendations for the rational use of information technologies are developed.
