BAM Landbird Density & Habitat Models

This dataset contains the publicly released outputs from the Boreal Avian Modelling Project’s Version 5.0 landbird density and habitat models. It provides 1-km GeoTIFF prediction mosaics for Canada, Alaska, and the contiguous United States (Lower 48), together with model validation and abundance summaries, summarized marginal effects, predictor-importance estimates, modelling-region geometry, and supporting metadata. The raster products report mean predicted male density, uncertainty across model bootstraps, and effective detection distance. Only models approved for public release are included; raw observations, model-training data, fitted model objects, and individual-region prediction rasters are excluded. These products supersede and expand upon the earlier Version 4.0 release. Code for the production of these products is available at https://github.com/borealbirds/LandbirdModelsV5.
