COURSE DESCRIPTIONThis course develops integrated competencies in critical listening and critical speaking for academic and professional contexts. The learning progression moves from foundational analysis of spoken texts to advanced creation and delivery of original, evidence-based arguments. Emphasis lies on active engagement, metacognitive strategy use, rigorous evidence evaluation, and adaptive communication. Instructional methods include phased skill development, collaborative learning through seminars and debates, and technology-enhanced practice, all designed to foster meaningful and constructive participation in complex dialogues.III.
