Full dataset for Single Tree analysis

All samples were taken from a single mature European Beech tree (Fagus sylvatica) located in the grounds of Silwood Park, Ascot, UK (51° 24’ 29.52”, −0° 38’ 42.72”). 10 treeholes were samples were collected from November 2014 to November 2015. A subset of the data was used in Rivett et al. 2021 10.1038/s41396-021-00976-0 in which can be found the full methodology. Extra data includes associated Rainfall sequencing and co-eluted RNA samples. RNA was coverted to cDNA using random hexamer RT-PCR prior to 16S amplification and sequencing.
