Complete genome sequence of Enterococcus songbeiensis KCM18590

This strain, isolated from a transplant patient, proliferates on VRE selective media and is suspected to harbor vancomycin resistance factors; however, it is classified as vancomycin-sensitive based on antimicrobial susceptibility testing performed using Mueller-Hinton agar. Therefore, we conducted whole-genome sequencing to further investigate its genetic profile.
