Population genetics of Pinguicula alpina in the Bavarian Alps

The hypothesis if P. alpina from the Bavarian Alps constitutes a single population without genetic structuring was tested using double-digest restriction site-associated DNA sequencing. More than 40 individuals of P. alpina from the entire Bavarian Alpine range were genotyped and genetic variation was assessed through Bayesian clustering, F-statistics and principal components analysis.
