Upper part of a statue of a man with a scribe's tool over his left shoulder; granodiorite, New Kingdom (c. 1450 BCE), place of discovery unknown. From the collection of the Egyptian Museum of the University of Bonn. The scribe figure is an excellent example of the courtly style of art at the time of the 18th Dynasty.
