EMPATHI Project datasets

This repository contains the datasets created during the experimental activities carried out at the Mauriziano Palace in Reggio Emilia within the framework of the EMPATHI project. The file empathiMasterLog.csv contains the logs generated by the Consumer and Producer applications. Records are ordered by timestamp and can be filtered using the “type” column (i.e., producer or consumer). The “prevalent” column indicates the predominant emotion experienced by the user, represented by an integer from 0 to 6 as follows: 0 - neutral, 1 - happy, 2 - surprise, 3 - sad, 4 - anger, 5 - disgust, 6 - fear. The columns from “neutral” to “fear” contain the intensity values of each emotion, expressed on a scale from 0.00 to 1.00. The “valence” column contains the valence values ranging from -100 to 100 while the “arousal” column contains arousal values ranging from 0 to 100. Finally, the “section” column indicates in which of the three initial sections of the exhibition held at the Mauriziano the session took place. For “consumer”-type users, only the “prevalent” and “section” columns are relevant. The file empathiProducerQuestionnaire(ITA).csv contains the responses to the questionnaire administered to the Producer. The files empathiConsumerQuestionnaire_scenarioA(ITA).csv and empathiConsumerQuestionnaire_scenarioB(ITA).csv contain the responses to the questionnaires administered to the Consumers during Scenario A (baseline experiment without the use of applications developed within the EMPATHI project) and Scenario B (experiment conducted using the applications developed within the EMPATHI project), respectively.
