Whole genome sequencing of Staphylococcus aureus isolates from oral and nasal cavity in Hiroshima University Hospital. Staphylococcus aureus

To investigate the frequency of S. aureus existence in oral and nasal cavity, S. aureus isolates were collected from the volunteers. Using the genome data, MLST analysis, genome comparison and analysis of virulence factors were conducted. In addition, S. aureus genomes between nasal and oral isolate from one individual were compared to know whether the 2 isolates were same or different.
