Research data - Intra muros et extra: Funerary landscapes and settlement dynamics at Monte Sannace and Vaste in the fourth century BCE

This dataset provides the complete research dataset for the chapter “Intra muros et extra: Funerary landscapes and settlement dynamics at Monte Sannace and Vaste in the fourth century BCE”. It contains 379 funerary features documented at Monte Sannace and Vaste and recontextualizes them within the settlements and their surroundings. The dataset is using CSV tables. The tables records site, feature type, deposition type, spatial precision, dating, dating method, tomb counts, burial counts, mapping basis, notes, and bibliographic references. It can be opened in GIS software such as QGIS or processed in standard spreadsheet/statistical environments. A KML file is included as an optional convenience format for quick visualization in Google Earth and other Earth browsers. The package also contains documentation a bibliographic reference file.
