资源简介:
This trancriptome analysis reveals the first detailed analysis on how the remnant lens epithelial cells (LECs) greatly reprogram their transcriptome by 48 hours post cataract surgery (PCS) and the dependence of this phenomenom on endogenous fibronectin gene expression. Living mice of both WT and FNcKO were subjected to lens fiber cell removal leaving behind the lens epithelium and capsule to model human cataract surgery. llumina HiSeq 2500 (Illumina) transcriptome profiling was performed in biological triplicate on remnant LECs isolated either immediately after surgery or 48 hours later in order to ascertain the response of lens epithelial cells to cataract suregery with the goal of understanding the role of fibronectin in posterior capsular opacification (PCO) pathogenesis.
