TEST 8F - 1m radius centrifuge experiment for evaluation of consolidation of the peat under a sand layer

With this test and the following one we want to investigate a possible method to build our "soil-non engineered structure" (peat-levee). TEST 8F and 9F are in fact linked: during TEST 8F we consolidate the peat using a thick layer of sand/clay on top. Thanks to 2 ppts at the bottom of the peat and inside a stand pipe we are able to study the degree of consolidation. We then span the model down and for TEST 9F we carved out the excessive sand/clay material to create a levee.
