资源简介:
The energy efficient measures are promoted to moderate the increasing carbon dioxide emissions. The energy available in the form of waste heat can be used efficiently in thermally driven adsorption cooling systems. Such systems can be operated at low temperatures ranging from 60 °C to 80 °C. The performance of the adsorption cooling system largely depends on adsorption characteristics of adsorbent – refrigerant pairs, such as adsorption isotherms and kinetics. It is difficult to evaluate the performance, however, because the adsorption rate is complicated to model due to influences of many factors, including bulk pressure and temperature. The objectives of this study are to modify Linear Driving Force model commonly used for analyses of adsorption rate and to improve the applicability of our model for ethanol – activated carbon pairs.
