Bulk RNA-seq data of orbital fibroblasts and peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) from thyroid eye disease patients

Smoking affects the severity of TED manifestations as well as patients' responses to medication. However, the underlying pathogenic mechanisms of smoking remain largely unclear in TED.To address these issues, we conducted bulk RNA-seq to distinguish orbital fibroblats under different time of treatment of cigarette smoking extract (CSE) from control. Besides, bulk RNA-seq was performed to unravel transcriptional differences between TED patients with or without smoking habits. Overall design: For orbital fibroblast cell sequencing, orbital fibroblast cells were treated with CSE for different time ranging from 6h to 72h (group names as T6h, T8h, T12h, T24h, T48h, T72h), while control group was cultured in Dulbecco's Modified Eagle Medium (group name as Control). For TED patients' PBMCs sequencing, PBMCs from 19 patients with smoking habit (smoking patient) and 19 patients without smoking habit (nonsmoking patient) were analyzed.
