Share of children practicing sports in clubs in Denmark 2016, by activity

In 2016, 33 percent of children in Denmark were members of a football club, making it the most popular sports association for this age group. During this period, sports clubs for swimming and gymnastics also ranked high, at respectively 24 percent and 21 percent each. In contrast, only five percent of the children were members of a fitness center.
