资源简介:
The study aimed to measure the impact of the repercussions of the COVID-19
pandemic—specifically its social, administrative, and financial dimensions on
the performance of the medical staff at Al-Ghaydah Central Hospital in AlGhaydah City. The study employed a descriptive-analytical methodology,
using a questionnaire as the primary tool for data collection. The study
population consisted of medical staff, including specialist doctors, general
practitioners, technicians, and nurses at Al-Ghaydah Central Hospital. Due to
the relatively small size of the population (193 individuals), the study utilized a
comprehensive survey approach. A total of 123 out of 158 returned
questionnaires were analyzed.
The descriptive-analytical approach was used to describe and analyze the study
variables.
The key findings indicated that the repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic
in its various dimensions were present at an acceptable level and with a high
degree of availability at Al-Ghaydah Central Hospital. Similarly, the
performance level of the medical staff was also at an acceptable and highly
available level. The study found that the pandemic's repercussions (social,
administrative, and financial) had a significant impact on the performance of
the medical staff. Moreover, a strong positive correlation was identified
between the performance of the medical staff and the pandemic's
repercussions.
The study's main recommendations included the need to attract a sufficient
number of foreign medical professionals, reduce turnover among local
qualified personnel, and address the root causes of such turnove
