**Overview**
The LEBA European Power indices focus on seven main European liberalized Power markets: Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium and Holland. Electricity, unlike gas, cannot be stored, so production, consumption, and pricing between interconnected markets mean that power prices are more volatile than gas. Even though it is an interconnected market, prices differ between countries.
Including both physically-delivered and financially-settled transactions across Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium and Holland. Volume weighted average price indices.
