We performed single-base resolution DNA methylation comparision between tetrapolyploid and two ancestor diploid peanuts by whole genome bisulfite sequencing. Combined with transcriptome sequencing data, we could analyze the association between DNA methylation variance and homoeologs expression bias and expression level dominance. The results will provide us an unique epigenetic insight into evolution of subgenomes and homoeologs of allopolyploid peanut.
