Figure data and optimization results accompanying the paper "Parallel-in-time multiple shooting for optimal control problems governed by the Navier-Stokes equations". In the paper, a multiple shooting algorithm is proposed for large-scale optimal control problems governed by the Navier-Stokes equations. The algorithm is based on an augmented Lagrangian method and was applied on several velocity tracking test cases. This dataset contains contains the data that was used in the figures from the accompanying paper. On the one hand, the dataset contains the target velocities that were used in the velocity tracking test cases. This data is provided in the form of an h5 file that contains snapshots of the 3D flow field for both Taylor-Green test cases (for the terminology, the reader is referred to the paper). On the other hand, the dataset contains the optimization results and timings for the different test cases. The optimization results, in the form of txt files, summarize the augmented Lagrangian outer iterations (objective function, Lagrange functional, matching error, penalty parameter and number of PDE evaluations used to solve the inner optimization problem). The dataset here can be used to recreate figures related to the accompanying paper. Python files for loading and visualizing the data are included (for example usage, see README).
