Smartphone Sensor Data of Indian Cities for Public Bus

The data contains smartphone sensor data for public buses in three Indian cities, Kolkata, Bhubaneswar and Durgapur.

The sensors used were:
1. Accelerometer
2. Compass
3. Gyroscope
4. Magnetometer
5. Sound
6. GPS

The data collection application has gone through different stages of development and hence the format could be different for the same sensor data.
The common ones are listed below
Acceleration: x-axis, y-axis, z-axis, date
Compass: azimuth, pitch, roll, date or angle of deviation
Magnetometer: x-axis, y-axis, z-axis, date
Sound: Sound frequency, date or decibel, frequency, date
GPS: latitude, longitude, speed, date

Speed and acceleration are in m/s and m/s^2 respectively. The x, y, z axis are those of the phone and should be re-oriented to match that of the vehicle.

The data also tags a set of road features in some of the traces, these being;
1. Speed Breaker
2. Turns
3. Bus Stops
4. Potholes

The data does contains several noisy information which should be processed before use.

Some of the folders have Experiment and Training sub-folders, however both have the same data.
