Governing tuition resets: replication data and code

Replication data and code for an institution-level study of tuition resets at US private nonprofit colleges. The deposit contains a cleaned 2008–2023 IPEDS panel, a human-coded tuition-reset registry and public-source evidence, CPI-U data, and code that reproduces all quantitative results reported in the article and supplement. It supports a one-command route from the supplied cleaned data and a one-command end-to-end route from 17 specified official IPEDS Access releases. The primary design estimates adjusted institution-level associations using policy-equal treated weights, common-support restrictions and comparison-institution reweighting. No student-level data are included.
