Effects of starvation stress on the interplay among shrimp digestion, immune activities and gut microbiota

Starvation affects gut microbiota, which further mediates physiological responses in host . However, knowledge on how the gut microbiota respond to starvation remains scarce. To fill this gap, we explored how the shrimp digestion and immune activities and the assembly and predicted function of gut microbiota were affected by starvation stress.
