Airport Boundaries

California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), Division of Transportation Planning, Aeronautics Program provided airport layout drawings with estimated digitized airport property or fence lines with Google Pro images background. Caltrans Division of Research, Innovation and System Information (DRISI) GIS office digitized the airport boundary lines with Bing Maps Aerial background and built the boundary lines into a GIS polygon feature class. Generally, Airport Layout Plans do not show complete connected property or fence lines. In many cases the boundary lines were interpreted among the property and fence lines with our best judgment. The airport general information derived from FAA Airport Master Record and Reports with their URL are included in the attribute table. Airport boundary data is intended for general reference and does not represent official airport property boundary determinations.加利福尼亚州运输部（California Department of Transportation, Caltrans）运输规划司航空项目组提供了带有估算数字化机场地产或围栏边界的机场布局图，背景采用谷歌专业航拍影像（Google Pro Images）。加州运输部研究、创新与系统信息司（DRISI）地理信息系统（GIS）办公室以必应地图航拍影像为背景，完成了机场边界线的数字化处理，并将该边界线构建为GIS多边形要素类。通常而言，机场布局图并不会展示完整连通的地产或围栏边界。多数情况下，我们会凭借专业判断，在地产边界与围栏边界之间推断出合理的边界线。本数据集的属性表中纳入了源自美国联邦航空管理局（Federal Aviation Administration, FAA）机场主记录与报告的机场通用信息，同时附带了这些文件的URL网址。本机场边界数据仅用于通用参考，不代表官方正式认定的机场地产边界。
