Data for: Evaluation of near infrared spectroscopy for sporozoite detection in mosquitoes infected with wild-strain parasites from asymptomatic gametocyte carriers in Kilifi Kenya

The datasets describe the results of screening for gametocyte carriers in Junju between May and Sept 2018. Asymptomatic gametocyte carriers were recruited to the study were invited to participate in mosquito feeding assays through direct membrane feeding assay and direct feeding assay (DMFA and DFA). The results of the feeding assays including mosquito infection (ELISA) are summarised in the second dataset. All NIR spectra are shared as .spc file as well as a GRAMS file (.tdfx).
