Data set of Hindi Translation, Content Validation and Reliability testing of Trunk Impairment Scale 2.0 (TIS 2.0) in patients with post stroke hemiplegia

This dataset contains data from a methodological study evaluating the Hindi-translated version of the Trunk Impairment Scale 2.0 (TIS 2.0) in patients with post-stroke hemiplegia. The study involved translation of the original TIS 2.0 into Hindi. Content validity of the translated version was established using the Delphi method, wherein a panel of experts evaluated each item for relevance and clarity. Content validity indices, including Item-level Content Validity Index (I-CVI) and Scale-level Content Validity Index (S-CVI), were calculated.

Test–retest (intra-rater) reliability was assessed in a sample of 51 patients by administering the scale at two time points under stable conditions. The dataset includes item-wise scores for all 14 items recorded during both test and retest sessions. Subscale scores were computed for Dynamic Sitting Balance (items 1–10) and Coordination (items 11–14).

Relative reliability was evaluated using the Intraclass Correlation Coefficient (ICC), while absolute reliability was assessed using Standard Error of Measurement (SEM), Minimal Detectable Change (MDC), and Bland–Altman analysis. Linear regression analysis (R²) was also performed to examine the association between test and retest scores.
