3D Tumor Tissue Analogs: Tumor Microenvironment and Therapeutic Implications in DIPG

To investigate how interactions between the neoplastic and the non-neoplastic cell types in the developing tumor influence the microenvironment and alter properties of DIPG growth and therapeutic response. Comparative gene expression profiling analysis of whole transcriptome sequencing data for two patient derived DIPG cell lines (SU-DIPG-VI and SU-DIPG-XIII) C3H10T1/2 cells was performed when cultured alone and when grown with non-neoplastic stromal cell types that included endothelial cells (HBEC-5i) and Microglia (HMC-3).
