Acropora muricata and Pocillopora damicornis raw DART sequence reads

DArT-seq FASTQ sequences for 515 FASTQ files for 345 sampled Acropora spp. individuals and 517 FASTQ files for 403 Pocillopora spp. individuals. With ever-growing concerns over the conditions of coral reefs under warming oceans comes a need to better understand the connectivity and adaptive capacities of reef-building corals from across large oceanic regional extents. The data here was used to apply a seascape genomics approach to model (i) population connectivity and (ii) thermal adaptive potentials for two keystone coral species across the West Indian Ocean (WIO). Here, we sampled Acropora muricata and Pocillopora damicornis around islands of three WIO regions (Seychelles, Mauritius, and Rodrigues). This study was conducted with funding provided under the Coral Restoration Project (PIMS 5736) by the Adaptation Fund and implemented by the United Nations Development Programme Mauritius and Seychelles, in collaboration with researchers at the Institut de Recherche pour le Developpement (IRD, France), the Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne (EPFL, Switzerland) and the University of Zurich.
