Future projections of global nutrient emission impacts on freshwater community impactness
收藏资源简介:
The zip-file contains the data and code accompanying the paper 'Future projections of global nutrient emission impacts on freshwater community intactness'. Together, these files should allow for the replication of the results. The 'raw_data' folder contains all experimental and modelling data that were used in this study. The folder is not provided, but below I give a short description of the data and how they can be accessed.* The 'IMAGE' map contains the IMAGE-GNM modelling results with N and P concentration maps from 1970 to 2070 for the different SSP scenarios. The files are accessible (as 'Output-IMAGE_GNM-<SSP scenario 1 to 5>_oct2020-<Nitrogen or Phosphorus>_Rivers-v2.nc') at https://dataportaal.pbl.nl/IMAGE/GNMSource: Beusen, A. H. W., Doelman, J. C., Van Beek, L. P. H., Van Puijenbroek, P. J. T. M., Mogollón, J. M., Van Grinsven, H. J. M., ... & Bouwman, A. F. (2022). Exploring river nitrogen and phosphorus loading and export to global coastal waters in the Shared Socio-economic pathways. Global Environmental Change, 72, 102426.* The 'Nconc_1900.asc' and 'Pconc_1900.asc' files contain the N and P nutrient concentrations for the year 1900. The files are developed by Arthur Beusen (unpublished) and are available on request. * The 'basin.asc' file contains a map defining all different river basins across the world. The file is accessible (as 'basin_id.asc') via the DANS dataset from Beusen et al. (2016) at https://doi.org/10.17026/DANS-ZGS-9K9M Source: Beusen, A. H., Bouwman, A. F., Van Beek, L. P., Mogollón, J. M., & Middelburg, J. J. (2016). Global riverine N and P transport to ocean increased during the 20th century despite increased retention along the aquatic continuum. Biogeosciences, 13(8), 2441-2451.* The 'nutrients_database.csv' file contains the experimental dataset from Neijnens et al. (2024). The dataset is accessible (as 'MA_database.csv') at https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.10372444Source: Neijnens, F. K., Moreira, H., de Jonge, M. M., Linssen, B. B., Huijbregts, M. A. J., Geerling, G. Global Change Biology, 30(1), e17094. https://doi.org/10.1111/gcb.17094 The 'derived_data' folder contains all data that were derived from the raw data. * The 'MSA_database.csv' and 'MSA_database_geary.csv' files contain the MSA values that are calculated based on the experimental dataset. * The files 'ModelSelection_beta_<subset>.csv' and 'ModelSelection_1infl_<subset>.csv' contain the model selection results with all statistical models and AICc values for respectively the beta regression model and the binomial model. * The 'Parameters_MSA_<subset>.csv' files contain the parameter values for the included model terms for both statistical models. * The 'table_1infl.csv' file contains the results from the statistical analysis. * The 'table_MSA.csv' file contains the global area-weighted average MSA values for 2010 and different SSP scenarios in 2070. The 'scripts' folder contains all scripts that should allow for replication of the results. * The file 'MSA_database.R' prepares the original data from the nutrient additions database to calculate MSA values. * The file 'MSA_inflation.R' checks the datasets for one-inflation. * The file 'MSA_analysis.R' performs the statistical analysis of the data and plots the N and P heatmaps. * The file 'MSA_mapping.R' plots the derived statistical MSA relationships for N and P on a global scale. The 'figures' folder contains all figures that are included in this study.* Figures S1.1 and S1.2 are made with the 'MSA_inflation.R' script. * Figures 1, S7.1, and S7.2 are made with the 'MSA_analysis.R' script. * Figures 2, 3, 4, 5, S2.1-S2.4, S5.1-S5.4, and S6.1-S6.7 are made with the 'MSA_mapping.R' script.
