Site Data from an Archaeological Evaluation at Turnfields, Ickford, Buckinghamshire, January 2021

This collection consists of the site images and a CAD/vector drawing from an archaeological evaluation at Turnfields, Ickford, Buckinghamshire. Works were carried out by Albion Archaeology in January 2021 prior to residential development. The trial trenching produced evidence of four undated ditches. No finds were recovered from the ditches; however, it is assumed that the ditches are probably medieval or earlier in date. Their linear form and sterile fills suggest that they probably served as field boundaries, peripheral to any domestic focus, which was likely outside of the area.
