Black Sea microzooplankton data from the RV Bilim 'BRIDGE-BS Dec 2022' cruise

The dataset contains data from samples collected in December 2022 onboard of R/V Bilim-2, at different stations located in Turkish EEZ of Black Sea. The sampling was performed within the BRIDGE-BS project (EU H2020, grant agreement No 101000240). Collected with Niskin bottles samples were filtered through the 18-micron plankton net and then transferred to bottles and fixed with acidic Lugol solution. Microzooplankton counts in the prepared samples were carried out using the Utermöhl sedimentation chamber. Microzooplankton counts were made using an Olympus inverted microscope (Hasle, 1978; Gifford and Caron, 2000). Analysis was done both from quantitative (density) and qualitative (list of species) point of view. The data file is in OBIS format.
