Digital Archive from an Archaeological Evaluation at Wilsons Lane, Exhall, Warwickshire, August 2022

This collection consists of images and GIS and site record data from an archaeological evaluation by trial trenching by Allen Archaeology Limited. Work occurred on land off Wilsons Lane, Exhall, Warwickshire in August 2022. A geophysical survey was conducted on the site revealing a low potential for archaeological remains apart from a possible former trackway or ditch. The subsequent evaluation exposed a pond which was probably an old extraction pit. Rooting was noted to the southeast of the site where trees were marked on a map of 1887.
